To All GPL Players,
Given the poor weather experienced at the Club and the very small field who completed rounds on Saturday 10th August, we have decided to amend the draw and move all GPL matches that were scheduled for the 10th of August, to now be played on the 17th of August. This is consistent with the tough decision made for Round 5 under very similar circumstances a few weeks ago.
This is the 1st and 2nd week of the Finals and the 2 weeks are now combined into 1, so the following matches will be played on Saturday 17th August 2019:
GPL Finals:
Elimination Final 1 & 2
- EF1: Huckers vs Amen Corner
- EF2: Triple D vs Birdies Bogeys Beer & Bourbon
Semi-Final 1
- SF1: Mork vs The 20
- SF2: Winner of EF1 vs Winner EF2
Knockout First Round:
- Match 1: Triple D vs Mork
- Match 2: The 20 vs Huckers
The Winners of these 2 matches will progress into the Quarter Finals to also be played on the same day, so it will be a double round just for these 2 teams. www.golfpl.com.au will be updated shortly and players will be able to see the random draw for all Knockout matches.
Good luck to all teams in the Finals, and remember if your team didn’t make the top 6 you’re still in with a chance to win the Knockout competition, so make sure you remain laser focussed on course for a little longer yet!
