The Home and Away season for 2010 is now over, and we are pleased
to announce the following prizes:
Weekly Comp:
WINNER : $ 450.00 - Justin Mann (SOB=Son of Bruce) total of 120 – a
dark horse of a winner by 1 point who came from 7th position at
the start of August – Well Done Justin!!
2ND & 3RD PLACE: $ 125.00each – Brian Roberts & Trevor
James drew with a total of 119 –Special mention should go
to two other BIG movers in August – Andrew Barber & Vanessa
Elders - who finished with 118pts each, just missing out on the
prize monies……..well done Andrew and Vanessa.
Commiserations to E.J. who lead the race for most of the year,
but stumbled at the finishing post.
PICK 8 BONUS: Andrew Barber Rd 12 - $35.00
Ian Jones Rd 15 - $35.00
KNOCKOUT: Won by Mark Johns in Round 16 - $50.00
RUNNING: Winner - $30.00
The winner in this competition, was again, Bradley Constable. He tied
on 350 points with Mark Johns,
they both picked 7 out of the Top 8 teams.
HOWEVER,
the countback system saw Bradley declared the winner
as he picked
3 teams out of the Top 8 in their correct positions, whereas Mark did
not.
Overall, all comps were very tight and thankyou to all of those who participated
and good luck to your teams if they are playing in the finals series.
Prize money will be available for collection from the Bar as of Friday
3rd September.
